Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp raspberry fruit-flavored gelatin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 cup chocolate bits

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites with salt until foamy.
  2. Combine raspberry gelatin with sugar.
  3. Gradually add the sugar mixture to the egg whites, beating until stiff peaks form. Rub a bit of the mixture between your fingers to ensure sugar is well dissolved and mixture is not grainy.
  4. Blend in vinegar.
  5. Fold in chocolate bits.
  6. Drop teaspoons of the mixture onto ungreased brown paper-lined or nonstick pans.
  7. Bake in a preheated 250°F (120°C) oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Turn off the oven and leave the cookies inside for another 20 minutes.
  9. Carefully remove the fragile kisses with a spatula.
