Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups unsifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, thawed and drained

Instructions

  1. Grease 12 (3-inch) muffin pan cups.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a small bowl, mix milk, sour cream, and vanilla.
  5. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
  6. Add the egg and beat until well blended.
  7. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk mixture to the creamed mixture, beating until just combined.
  8. Gently fold in the raspberries.
