Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 2 cups plus 1 teaspoon flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the shortening, sugar, egg, baking soda, and sour milk well.
  2. Pour the batter into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
