Ingredients

  • 4 c. finely chopped red cabbage
  • 1 small green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 medium red or yellow onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. regular salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine the finely chopped red cabbage, green pepper, and onion in a mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and let stand for 1 hour.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients (sugar and cider vinegar) and mix well.
  4. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. Store, covered, in the refrigerator.
