Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 6 oranges
  • 3 apples
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 bananas

Instructions

  1. Drain the crushed pineapple, reserving the juice.
  2. Combine sugar and egg in a saucepan.
  3. Gradually stir in the reserved pineapple juice and lemon juice.
  4. Add margarine to the mixture.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.
  6. Cool the dressing before combining with fruits.
