Reuben turnovers combine tender crescent roll crust with savory corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing for a flavorful snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 12 oz. can corned beef, flaked
  • 16 oz. can sauerkraut, drained
  • 4 oz. package shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup Russian dressing
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Separate the crescent rolls into 8 rectangles on an ungreased baking sheet, pressing perforations to seal.
  2. Layer equal portions of corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese in the center of each rectangle.
  3. Top each with Russian dressing.
  4. Moisten the edges with water and fold the dough in half, pressing the edges with a fork to seal.
  5. Brush the tops with butter and sprinkle lightly with poppy seed.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately.
