Rice And Ground Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato puree
  • 2 c. Italian rice
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper, oregano, basil and parsley
  • 1/2 c. grated Romano

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in skillet.
  2. Add puree with spices, onion and green pepper.
  3. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Mix with cooked rice.
  5. Put in a baking dish and sprinkle with grated Romano. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
