Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped fine

Instructions

  1. Mix ground meat and uncooked rice together.
  2. Add salt and black pepper, then form into 1/2-inch diameter balls.
  3. Place the meatballs in a baking dish.
  4. In a skillet, saute chopped onions and bell peppers in 1 tablespoon butter until tender.
  5. Add tomato sauce to the sauteed vegetables, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
  7. Cover the baking dish and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until done.
