Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 large deer steaks
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 large bottle ketchup
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 large Vidalia onion
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Line a casserole dish or large deep dishpan with foil.
  2. Chop the deer steaks into bite-sized pieces after marinating, rinsing, and drying.
  3. Place the steak pieces in the dish and cover with ketchup.
  4. Chop the onion and green bell pepper and spread over the steak. Stir together.
  5. Spread remaining ketchup on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F until the meat is done.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper before serving.
