Ingredients

  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid red pepper seasoning
  • 2 racks (13 oz. each) baby back ribs
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped gar lic
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Place the racks of ribs in the pan.
  4. Rub the ribs with finely chopped garlic, pepper, and salt.
  5. Pour 1 cup of barbecue sauce over the ribs to coat them evenly.
  6. Bake the ribs for 1 hour at 350°F.
  7. Then broil the ribs 6 inches from the heat, turning until caramelized, about 5 minutes.
