- Brown the ground beef and onion until cooked through.
- Drain excess fat from the beef and onions.
- In a large casserole dish, layer half of the chopped cabbage.
- Add half of the cooked ground beef on top of the cabbage.
- Pour half of the tomato sauce over the beef layer.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining cabbage, beef, and tomato sauce.
- Press down gently into the dish to compress the layers.
