Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted margarine, and 1/2 cup sugar to make the crust.
  3. Grease a spring-form pan and coat the inside with the graham cracker mixture.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat room temperature cream cheese, eggs, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared spring-form pan.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
  7. Cool the cheesecake for 10 minutes.
  8. Mix sour cream, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla to prepare the topping.
  9. Spread the sour cream mixture on top of the cooled cake.
  10. Bake at 475°F for 5 minutes.
  11. Let the cheesecake sit for 8 hours or overnight before serving.
