Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt or powder
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut up the cabbage as for fried cabbage.
  2. Crumble raw hamburger and put it all into a cooker.
  3. Add stewed tomatoes, salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
  4. Add water and tomato sauce.
  5. Cook for 30 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
  6. Pour over mashed potatoes or rice before serving.
