Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla together.
  2. Add eggs and beat. Mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Add to the first mixture, 1 to 2 cups at a time.
  4. Can add up to a 5th cup of flour as needed.
  5. Chill the dough for 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Roll out and cut into shapes.
  7. Bake at 325°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Do not overbake.
