Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the Crisco.
- Add sugar, salt, and bran cereal to the mixture.
- Dissolve the yeast in 1 cup of lukewarm water.
- Add the yeast mixture to the bran mixture.
- Beat in the eggs.
- Add flour and mix until a large ball forms.
- Place the dough in a large greased bowl and let rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough.
- At this point, you can refrigerate or roll out and make into rolls.
- Let the formed rolls rise for approximately 1 hour.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F until browned.
