- In a large pan, cook cabbage, apples, salt and pepper in a small amount of boiling water over medium-low heat, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
- Drain.
- Return to saucepan. Add vinegar, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Heat through. Stir to combine.
- Makes 8 servings.
