Ingredients

  • 1 family pack chicken
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons pepper
  • 1 medium bottle hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Pour oil into a skillet and heat on medium-high.
  2. Salt and pepper the chicken on both sides.
  3. Sprinkle very heavily with hot sauce on both sides; note that hot sauce will not make the chicken hot and spicy.
  4. Roll the chicken evenly in flour.
  5. Place the chicken into the hot oil and fry on medium-high for 15 to 20 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the chicken and place on a dish lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot or cooled.
