Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 very thin steaks
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into strips
  • 1 to 2 kosher pickles, cut into strips
  • chopped onion
  • mustard
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Lay each thin steak on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a thin layer of mustard on each steak, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place bacon strips, pickle strips, and chopped onion on each steak.
  4. Roll up the steak tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Brown the rolled steaks in a deep skillet on all sides.
  6. Add water slowly to fill the skillet halfway, then cover.
  7. Simmer for 90 minutes until tender.
