Instructions
- Mix sugar, flour and salt.
- Add water and vinegar; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
- Remove from stove.
- Add butter and vanilla; pour this over apples.
- Put in unbaked crust; put top crust on.
- Bake at 400° for 40 minutes, or until done.
