Royal Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 c. sliced apples
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, flour and salt.
  2. Add water and vinegar; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from stove.
  4. Add butter and vanilla; pour this over apples.
  5. Put in unbaked crust; put top crust on.
  6. Bake at 400° for 40 minutes, or until done.
