Ingredients

  • 2 packages taco mix (dry)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 small cans chopped tomatoes
  • 1 large can tomato juice
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, cut small

Instructions

  1. Toast the taco mix on a cookie sheet over low heat, watching closely to prevent burning.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a pot or bowl.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 20 minutes to develop flavors.
