Instructions
- Split each almond into 2 halves.
- Using a mortar and pestle, crush the cumin, coriander, and saffron together.
- Soak the raisins in hot water for a few minutes and drain.
- Saute the almonds, crushed spices, and raisins in butter for a few minutes.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan and toss to color the rice and coat each grain with butter.
- Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
