Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup whole-wheat bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Drain the salmon and flake it into a bowl.
  2. Combine the flaked salmon with beaten egg, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, bread crumbs, lemon juice, lemon peel, and crushed rosemary. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 or 5 patties.
  4. Pan-fry the patties in a small amount of oil until lightly browned on both sides.
  5. Serve on toasted hamburger buns topped with your favorite condiments.
