Ingredients

  • 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans salmon, boned
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 8 large potatoes, peeled and cooked
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • biscuit mix pastry for 2 double crust 9-inch pies

Instructions

  1. Combine the canned salmon, chopped onions, and butter; mix thoroughly.
  2. Add peeled and cooked potatoes and mash well.
  3. Stir in milk and whip until smooth.
  4. Spread the mixture into prepared pastry shells.
  5. Top with another crust, crimping the edges to seal.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  7. Pie may be frozen for later use.
