- In a shallow bowl, combine egg, milk, lemon juice, and salt; beat well.
- Dip each salmon steak in the mixture, then in cornflake crumbs to coat.
- Put butter in a microwave-safe dish and cook on power 9 for 1 1/2 minutes until melted.
- Arrange the coated salmon steaks in the dish with melted butter.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and cook on power 9 for 5 to 7 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Let stand for a few minutes; the internal heat will finish cooking the fish.
