Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef or deer meat
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 1 teaspoon whole black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon liquid smoke

Instructions

  1. Blend together ground beef or deer meat, water, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard seed, black pepper, and liquid smoke until well combined.
  2. Mix the blended ingredients and divide into two 1-pound rolls.
  3. Wrap each roll in foil and refrigerate in the icebox for 24 hours.
  4. Punch holes in the bottom of each roll, then place them on a cookie rack over a pan with water in it.
  5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 1 1/2 hours until cooked through.
