Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb ground beef
  • 16 oz salsa
  • 8 oz Cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese
  • 6 sub buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Divide the ground beef into 6 equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  3. Wrap each patty in a piece of aluminum foil.
  4. Place the foil-wrapped patties on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Remove the patties from the oven, unwrap the foil, and place each on a sub bun.
  6. Top each with salsa, then sprinkle with Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese.
  7. Wrap the assembled subs in foil and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
