Ingredients

  • 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans Del Monte Mexican style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place tomatoes in blender, one can at a time.
  2. Cover and run on lowest speed 2 seconds to chop tomatoes.
  3. In a bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped cilantro, lemon juice, minced garlic, and hot pepper sauce if desired.
  4. Mix well and chill before serving.
