A sweet and salty treat combining buttery caramel and chocolate on crispy saltine crackers, perfect for satisfying snack cravings or sharing at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup real butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 1 to 2 sleeves saltine crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with foil and completely cover it with saltine crackers.
  3. Melt the butter and light brown sugar in a pan.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour the boiled mixture over the crackers on the prepared sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove immediately from the oven and sprinkle with milk chocolate chips.
  8. Let it cool in the refrigerator until set.
  9. Lift the foil to break the candy into pieces.
