Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup instant grits
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese
  • 6 ounces garlic cheese roll (optional, as an alternative to Velveeta)
  • 3 beaten eggs

Instructions

  1. Cook the instant grits as directed on the box.
  2. When the grits are cooked, add the remaining ingredients: oleo, Tabasco sauce, Velveeta cheese, eggs, and chopped green chilies.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until browned, about 30 minutes.
