Ingredients

  • 15 1/2 oz crushed pineapple can
  • 4 serving size vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 layer size yellow cake mix

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine undrained crushed pineapple, pudding mix, and 1/3 cup water.
  2. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
  4. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package directions; pour the batter over the pineapple mixture in the pan.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the cake tests done.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
