Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa or polish sausage, julienned
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (10 oz)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the sausage; let cool.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sausage, shredded mozzarella cheese, one egg, minced fresh parsley, onion salt, and garlic salt; mix well.
  4. Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough and roll into a 12 x 8 inch rectangle.
  5. Spread the sausage mixture down the center of the dough.
  6. Bring the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Place the loaf seam side down on a greased baking sheet and tuck the ends underneath.
  8. Beat the remaining egg and brush over the top of the loaf.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
