Ingredients

  • 10 oz. fresh spinach
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Remove stems from spinach, wash leaves, and pat dry.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chopped green onion and cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
  5. Add spinach, sugar, and salt to the skillet.
  6. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until spinach is wilted and tender, stirring once.
  7. Drain excess liquid and serve immediately.
