Ingredients

  • 1 lb. scallops
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • toast points (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse scallops and drain.
  2. In a small-medium saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, and paprika; cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually add milk; cook for 4 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly.
  5. Add sherry and scallops; reduce heat to low.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes until scallops are opaque and firm.
