Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. milk (warm)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. oil

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, warm milk, sugar, oil, and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Let the mixture stand for 15 minutes until frothy.
  3. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients (flour and egg) to the mixture.
  5. Knead until the dough doubles in size, about 1-2 hours.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
  7. Place the cut dough in a bread pan and let rise until doubled in size.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
