Ingredients

  • 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans Veg-All
  • small can tomato sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 6 to 8 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine diced tomatoes, Veg-All, tomato sauce, chopped onion, diced potatoes, browned ground beef, water, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer until the potatoes are tender, about an hour.
  4. Stir in margarine before serving for added richness.
