Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb minced ham
  • 6 oz bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce or ketchup
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs and add them to the dry ingredients (minced ham, bread crumbs, pepper, and ketchup).
  2. Mix well; turn onto a floured board and knead to form a fairly thick ball.
  3. Roll up the mixture in a floured cloth and tie securely.
  4. Place on a plate; put in a pot of boiling water and boil for 1 1/2 hours.
  5. When ready, turn out the roll and roll it in some bread crumbs.
  6. Serve hot or as a cold sandwich.
