Ingredients

  • 1 lb sauerkraut
  • 1/2 cup barley
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • mushrooms
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 pork chops
  • 1 capful vinegar
  • 1/2 cup split peas

Instructions

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer for 3 1/2 hours until flavors meld and ingredients are tender.
