Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups Raisin Bran flakes
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients into a large bowl.
  2. Mix at low speed of a mixer until a dough forms.
  3. Using a well floured rolling pin or well floured fingers, roll or pat out the dough, half at a time, on an ungreased cookie sheet to a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
  4. Cut into 2-inch squares, but do not separate them.
  5. Sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Immediately cut into squares along the lines.
  8. Cool for 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets.
