A creamy seafood pâté combining shrimp and imitation crab, flavored with mayonnaise, dill, and cocktail sauce, perfect for elegant appetizers or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 12 to 16 oz. shrimp
  • 12 to 16 oz. imitation crab
  • mayonnaise
  • cocktail sauce
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Put equal amounts of shrimp and crab in a food processor. Process until chopped fine.
  2. Moisten with mayonnaise until the mixture holds together.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, dill, and a little cocktail sauce.
  4. Put the mixture into a loaf pan coated with cocktail sauce. Chill until firm.
  5. Turn out the pâté onto a plate.
  6. Cover with cocktail sauce and serve with crackers.
