Ingredients

  • 1 lb. firm tofu
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed
  • 1 tsp. sesame seed oil
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds

Instructions

  1. Cut the tofu into 1/4-inch thick slices or 3/4-inch cubes.
  2. Mix soy sauce, sliced green onion, toasted sesame seed, sesame seed oil, and ground almonds in a small bowl.
  3. Place the sliced tofu in a dish and pour the sauce mixture over the top, creating a layered effect.
  4. Cook in a microwave for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Optionally, transfer to a stainless steel pot or pan to bring to a boil.
  6. Cook for about 3 minutes on medium-high heat.
  7. Serve with rice.
