Ingredients

  • 1 head shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 package cooked drained peas
  • 1 pint mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 (4 oz.) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Use a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  2. Layer all ingredients in the order listed: shredded lettuce, chopped celery, chopped onion, cooked drained peas, mayonnaise, sprinkled sugar, shredded Cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
  3. Cover with Saran Wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours; overnight is better.
