Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups oil
  • 2 cups strawberries, thawed and sliced with juice

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Add beaten eggs, oil, and strawberries with juice to the dry mixture and mix well.
  3. Divide the batter evenly into two greased and floured small pans.
  4. Fill each pan about halfway full.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 1 hour.
  6. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans.
  7. Serve plain or with confectioners' icing.
