Shortcut Baked Beans

Instructions
- In a skillet cook bacon until crisp.
- Remove bacon, reserving 1 tablespoon for the drippings.
- Drain and crumble bacon.
- Set aside.
- Cook onion in reserved bacon drippings over medium heat until tender but not brown.
- Combine onion, pork and beans, ketchup, brown sugar or molasses, mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour or to desired consistency.
- Stir bean mixture; top with bacon. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Or, if preferred, you may cook ingredients in saucepan over low heat about 15 minutes or to desired consistency, stirring frequently.
- Top with bacon.
- Makes 4 servings.
