- Cook the wide noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions; drain.
- Combine the beaten egg, cottage cheese, grated Parmesan, and cooked meat.
- In a 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked noodles, the meat mixture, sliced mozzarella, and spaghetti sauce; repeat the layers.
- Bake uncovered in a 375°F oven for 50 minutes.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
- Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
