Ingredients

  • 8 medium red potatoes
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 1/4 lb. extra sharp Cracker Barrel cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes in jackets, then peel them.
  2. Shred the cooked potatoes into a buttered 4-quart casserole dish.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the cheese in milk with cream, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the cheese mixture over the shredded potatoes.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
