Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 pound vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 cup cream, whipped
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup pineapple, crushed and drained

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and confectioners sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add beaten eggs and mix well.
  3. Spread half the crushed vanilla wafers on the bottom of an buttered 8-inch square pan.
  4. Add the butter mixture over the wafers.
  5. Spread the crushed pineapple over the butter mixture.
  6. Combine chopped nuts with whipped cream and spread on top of the pineapple layer.
  7. Top with the remaining crushed wafers.
  8. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
