Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 green pepper (thin slices)
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • thyme (season to taste)
  • pepper (season to taste)
  • 1 small can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 4 c. white rice
  • 2 shots Louisiana hot sauce
  • salt (season to taste)
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Clean shrimp.
  2. In frying pan, saute shrimp in olive oil.
  3. Add vegetables, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and spice to taste.
  4. Let simmer 12 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice.
