Ingredients

  • 10 slices white bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 2 c. shredded processed sharp American cheese
  • 2 or more c. cleaned and cooked fresh or canned shrimp

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°.
  2. Cut crusts from bread; cut slices into cubes.
  3. Beat eggs, milk and seasonings together.
  4. Stir in bread cubes, cheese and shrimp.
  5. Pour into oblong (11 x 7 x 2-inch) baking dish.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until center is set.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. Serves 8.
