Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup persimmon pulp
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Beat the egg slightly and melt the butter.
  3. Blend the egg and melted butter into the persimmon pulp and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour the batter into a well-greased and floured pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
