Ingredients

  • 2 cans pork and beans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Drain the pork and beans well.
  2. Combine brown sugar, ketchup, liquid smoke, mustard, and chopped onion in a bowl.
  3. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Stir in the drained beans.
  5. Cook the mixture on top of the range at medium heat until it begins to boil.
  6. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
